'Mutual Food Products Ltd' is Group's core SBU. It is an 'extended supply chain company', offering exclusive services of contract manufacturing, nationwide Logistics and warehousing to retail distribution network for GlaxoSmithKline, Consumer Division, Bangladesh.

GSK consumer brands Distribution portfolio includes brands in Health Food Drinks, Instant Powder Drinks, Snacks, Biscuits and Oral-care industry. Brands are Horlicks, Boost, Glaxose and Sensodyne.

Health Food drinks are packed in Mutual's factory in Konabari, Gazipur. This facility is exclusively built and operated for GlaxoSmithKline since 2002.

Sales and Distribution network is managed through six depots in Gazipur (Konabari), Dhaka (Topkhana), Chittagong (Halishahar), Bogra (Badurtala), Khulna (Sheikhpara) and in Sylhet (Shah Paran Mazar).

MFPL employs more than 150 permanent employees.

MMPL offers exclusive services of bulk Importation, contract manufacturing, nationwide Logistics and warehousing to retail distribution for Denmark based Arla Foods. Its Portfolio includes 'Dano', the popular household milk brand, Deelac, recently launched infant milk powder brand. MMPL factory is located at Konabari, Gazipur.

MMPL employs more than 100 employees.

Operation of Dano and Deelac will move from Mutual to a newly formed Joint venture company named 'Arla Foods Ltd, Bangladesh' within Oct 2013. Equity structure of the JV is almost equal between Arla Foods, Denmark and Mutual. Mutual directors will continue as board members of the JV and Mr. Azim will hold the Chairman position.
